If you've lost or in need of a spare key, you don't need to worry about having your vehicle recovered to a main dealers anymore. Herne Bay Locks are fully mobile! Why use Herne Bay Locks instead of main dealers?

Main dealers will not be able to provide a replacement key on the same day, usually taking up to 7-10 days to get you back on the road. They require you, to recover the vehicle to them for this service. Herne Bay Locks have expert autolocksmiths who can come out on site by using the latest key programming equipment to get your vehicle back on the road.

What happens to my lost/stolen keys?

In the event you have had your key lost or stolen. To prevent someone coming back with your original key, we can erase the lost keys from the vehicle so they no longer work via the remote or the immobiliser.

But this will not prevent them from gaining access to the vehicle via key blade. This can be prevented by either taking the locks apart and rekeying them to a new key number or in some cases where its not able to disassemble the locks we can supply & fit new lock sets to the vehicle.

Location
Vehicle Details ( Make, Model & Registration number)
ID & Proof of ownership of the vehicle will need to be provided when attending the vehicle.

Once we have this information, we can put a quote together for you and get you back on the road as soon as possible.
